Quick take
A light 5/16 oz spinnerbait designed for clear-water bass fishing in tough conditions.
This 5/16 oz spinnerbait comes in Sexy Mouse, made for anglers fishing for bass. It is an option for anglers who want that color in a spinnerbait of this weight.
Best for
- Clear water where bass are skittish
- Finesse presentations with lighter line
- Weedy or wooden cover that demands subtle lures
Skip if
- You need a heavier spinnerbait for windy conditions or deeper water
- You fish murky water where bass rely on vibration over sight
Strengths
- Light weight allows finesse casting on light line without fatigue
- Gold frame and bright color patterns attract bass in clear water
- Willow blade produces flash and minimal vibration
Trade-offs
- At 5/16 oz, limited casting distance on heavy line or in wind
- Subtle blade action may be too light for murky or stained water

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
