Quick take
Six pre-tied hi-low rigs with 2/0 circle hooks, orange floats and beads for pompano and surf species.
This is a six-pack of pre-tied pompano rigs from XFISHMAN, built around 2/0 circle hooks on carbon steel. The pack mixes three float colors, and each rig is ready to tie on, bait and fish from the beach, a pier or a boat. It suits surf anglers who want to skip tying leaders on the sand and target pompano, drum, whiting and similar species.
Best for
- Pompano in the surf on baited setups
- Beginners casting from beach or pier who want ready-to-fish rigs
- Targeting croakers, black drum and other bottom dwellers near structure
Skip if
- You fish freshwater; these are saltwater only
- You prefer tie-your-own rigs for customization
Strengths
- Pre-tied design saves time; tie to main line and add bait within seconds
- Camouflage leader is less visible to wary saltwater species than clear monofilament
- Orange beads and floats attract fish while marking the rig depth
Trade-offs
- Fixed rig design does not adjust for different weights or baits
- 3 inch branch arms can tangle during casting in rough conditions
- Rigs are single-use; broken or lost components require purchasing new pack
