Quick take
A 5.5 inch soft plastic worm with a paddle tail that swims with a natural action, designed for bass in weedy water.
This 5.5 inch Swim Senko pairs the familiar Senko body with a paddle tail, so it adds a gentle kick to a soft-plastic worm. It can be fished weightless, on a screw-in weight or Texas-rigged for pitching and flipping. This one comes in June Bug Purple with Emerald Flake.
Best for
- Bass fishing over grass beds and timber
- Anglers who want a worm that moves without additional weight
- Light Texas rig presentations in shallow water
Skip if
- You need worms smaller than 5 inches
- You fish open water where glide is more important than vibration
Strengths
- Paddle tail adds subtle vibration to the classic Senko profile
- 5.5 inch size is large enough to attract big bass but still versatile
- June Bug is a proven bass color in clear to slightly stained water
Trade-offs
- Longer worms can tangle on grass more easily
- Paddle tail is not as subtle as the original Senko design
- Purple-based colors are less visible in murky water

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
