Quick take
A soft plastic stick bait in green pumpkin that falls and wiggles on a finesse rig to tempt bass in clear water.
This is a pack of ten 5-inch Yamamoto Senko stick baits in Green Pumpkin with red flake. The straight soft-plastic body falls slowly with a fluttering action, so it suits Texas rigging or wacky rigging around shallow cover. A natural green pumpkin shade is a familiar choice for bass anglers working weedy or stained water.
Best for
- Finesse fishing with light line on light rods
- Wacky rigged on shallow points and flats
- Bass in clear water during bright sun
Skip if
- You need a heavy-duty lure for thick cover
- You prefer larger profiles for murky water
Strengths
- Neutral buoyancy lets the bait fall on a slack line
- Subtle action triggers strikes from line-shy bass
- Versatile rigging options keep it in the strike zone
Trade-offs
- Requires finesse techniques to fish effectively
- Soft plastic tears easily on cover and rocks
- Not durable for repeated casts like hard lures

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
