Quick take
A portable telescoping landing net with a rubber-coated mesh that protects fish and extends from 21 to 75 inches.
This is a compact telescoping landing net with an aluminum alloy frame and a rubber-coated nylon mesh. The knotless mesh helps keep hooks from tangling, and a rotary switch locks the pole at the length you set. The fixed-handle version has a triangular 14.2-inch hoop and a rubber grip, and it collapses small enough to stash in a tackle bag for lake, river or boat trips.
Best for
- Lake and river fishing from shore or small boats
- Catching and safely releasing fish
- Lightweight, portable fishing where travel matters
Skip if
- You fish saltwater regularly in rough conditions
- You need a heavy-duty net for large saltwater species
Strengths
- Rubber-coated mesh is knotless and won't tear fish fins or scales
- Telescopic design collapses for easy storage and transport
- Aluminum frame and skid-resistant handle provide reliable grip
Trade-offs
- Telescopic sections can get stuck if sand or dirt enters
- Rubber coating can perish in heavy sun or saltwater
- Not rated for very large saltwater game fish
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
