Quick take
HD Carbon fluorocarbon leader with disappearing pink tint that enhances invisibility, sized for medium to heavier tackle applications.
This Yo-Zuri 15-pound fluorocarbon leader comes on a 100-yard spool in a clear line with a pink tint that is meant to fade underwater. Its pink shade is aimed at leader work, where a scuffed section can stand out, and the tint is meant to keep working after that wear. Fluorocarbon's low visibility under the surface suits anglers fishing clear water with light line for bass, walleye and similar species.
Best for
- Saltwater fishing where invisibility reduces bite refusals
- Tandem rigs and multi-lure setups where the connection is visible
- Clear water and bright conditions where line visibility matters
Skip if
- You prefer monofilament leader for knot strength
- You fish colored water where line color is less critical
Strengths
- Disappearing pink tint adds invisibility even if the line gets nicked
- 100% fluorocarbon is virtually invisible to fish in clear water
- High abrasion resistance and superior knot strength over standard fluorocarbon
Trade-offs
- Fluorocarbon is stiffer and less forgiving than monofilament
- 100-yard wrist spool is limited for large fish or long casts
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
