Quick take
A 1/4 oz stand-up pumpkin jig with plastic bait keeper, designed for power shaking presentations.
The YUM Pumpkin Head is a stand-up jighead for power shaking soft plastics, with a flat head and hook angle that keep the bait upright on the bottom. Its horizontal line tie helps the jig stay vertical, and a corkscrew-style keeper holds the plastic bait at a set angle. It comes in black at 1/4 oz on a 6/0 hook, for anglers who want a heavier stand-up jig for bass.
Best for
- Bass fishing on hard bottom
- Power shaking with thick worms
- Keeping plastic baits in the strike zone
Skip if
- You fish light presentations
- You prefer round jigheads
Strengths
- Stand-up design keeps jig vertical on bottom
- Plastic keeper holds baits securely
- Pumpkin head shape works with most YUM baits
Trade-offs
- 1/4 oz is mid-weight, not ideal for ultra-deep
- Stand-up design less versatile than round heads
- Bait keeper can break with hard plastic
