Quick take
Durable 7-inch finesse worm with a bulbous tail and salt impregnation, rigged on shaky heads or drop shot.
The Z-Man Finesse WormZ in Watermelon Red is a 7-inch soft plastic sold in packs of eight, with salt in its ElaZtech body for added casting weight. Its buoyant build keeps the tail standing up off the bottom, which suits Texas rigs, Carolina rigs and shaky heads. It is a straightforward choice for anglers who want a worm for bass in shallow cover.
Best for
- Shaky head rigs for natural presentation
- Drop shot rigs on shallow structures
- Clear water where finesse is needed
Skip if
- You need heavy-cover lures
- You fish thick weeds
Strengths
- ElaZtech material outlasts standard soft plastics
- Bulbous tail floats up naturally at rest
- Salt makes the worm denser and helps fish hold on

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
