Quick take
A 3 inch soft plastic minnow with slim profile and flat tail, designed for finesse techniques like Ned rig and drop-shot presentations.
This is a 3-inch Z-Man MinnowZ soft plastic in the Slam Shady color, sold six to a pack. Its slim baitfish body ends in a paddle tail that catches water, which suits anglers working small swimbaits for bass and walleye. A small, subtle profile like this is a handy addition when fish are keyed in on little baitfish.

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
