Quick take
A 1/2 oz bladed swim jig with a hex-shaped blade that combines the flash of a spinnerbait, vibration of a crankbait, and profile of a jig.
The Z-Man Original ChatterBait is a half-ounce bladed swim jig in Green Pumpkin, about 4.5 inches long. Its hex-shaped blade adds vibration and flash to a jig profile, and it carries a needle point 5/0 hook. Bass anglers fishing heavy cover or stained water can swim it at different speeds to work the water column, and add a soft trailer to tailor the look.
Best for
- Heavy cover fishing in stained water
- Varying retrieves from slow drags to fast swims
- Bass fishing at multiple depths from shallow to deep
Skip if

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
