Quick take
Three 1/4 oz saltwater jig heads with oversized 3D eyes and dual keeper barbs to hold ElaZtech soft plastics.
This glow Z-Man Trout Eye jighead puts a large 3D eye on a 1/4 oz head, a pick for anglers who want a visible eye on soft plastics for inshore saltwater. It carries a 2/0 hook and dual conical keeper barbs that hold ElaZtech plastics in place. Each pack holds three jigheads.
Best for
- Inshore saltwater fishing for seatrout and redfish
- ElaZtech plastic combinations
- Clear or moderately lit water where eyes attract strikes
Skip if
- You use standard plastic baits; keeper barbs are designed for ElaZtech
- You fish in heavy current; use heavier heads
Strengths
- Oversized 3D eyes mimic baitfish and trigger strikes
- Dual keeper spikes hold even tough ElaZtech material
- 2/0 UltraPoint hook penetrates cleanly
Trade-offs
- At 1/4 oz, limited to shallower presentations and light cover
- Oversized eyes add weight forward, changing the presentation angle
- The Glow color works only in low-light conditions or depth
