Quick take
A 4 in segmented swimbait with a scented paddle tail for inshore saltwater or freshwater grass.
This is a 4-inch paddle-tail swimbait in the Slam Shady color, sold in a pack of five. Its segmented body and thin tail give a subtle wobble that works on slow or fast retrieves, and it is molded from scent-infused ElaZtech plastic. Rig it on a jighead or weighted swimbait hook for inshore fishing, or work it as a swim jig or umbrella rig trailer in freshwater.
Best for
- Topwater buzzing through grass flats or shallow saltwater
- Pairing with jigheads or weighted swimbait hooks
- Inshore saltwater fishing for redfish and speckled trout
Skip if
- You want a larger profile for bigger fish
- You fish primarily in structure where snagging matters
Strengths
- Segmented body and thin paddle tail create subtle wobble on all retrieves
- ElaZtech material is 10X tougher than standard soft plastics
- Pro-Cure scent impregnation attracts strikes without chumming
Trade-offs
- 4 in is a smaller profile that may not interest large pike or catfish
- Scent fades after a few casts so repeated re-application is needed
- Paddles can load with silt or break off on very aggressive strikes

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
