Quick take
A 1/4 oz Texas Eye jighead with oversized 3D eyes, flat sides for weedless rigging, and a pivoting hook for maximum bait action.
This is a three-pack of 1/4 oz Chartreuse jig heads with a swinging hook and oversized 3D eyes. The flat-sided head and upturned line tie are shaped to slip through grass and resist hanging up on wood and rock. A molded keeper holds the soft plastic in place, and the 3/0 wide gap hooks suit paddle-tail swimbaits and straight-tail baits for bass and redfish.
Best for
- Texas rigging soft plastics in weeds and laydowns
- Piching at docks and cover where snags lurk
- Presentations where a weedless profile matters
Skip if
- You want a traditional round jighead; this is flat and specialized
- You fish open water; Texas rigging does not shine there
Strengths
- Oversized 3D eyes catch light and attract strikes
- Flat-sided design sheds grass and weeds easily
- Pivoting hook lets soft plastics move freely
Trade-offs
- 1/4 oz is light for heavy cover or thick weeds
- Oversized eyes make the head bulky for some baits
- Weedless profile means less hookup on light strikes
