Quick take
A general-purpose clear monofilament line with low memory and high tensile strength for all fishing situations.
Best for

- Freshwater and light saltwater use
- Situations where low-memory line prevents line twist
Skip if
- You fish heavy cover where abrasion resistance is critical
- You need fluorocarbon line for clear water stealth
Strengths

- High tensile strength keeps the line reliable under strain
- Clear color is relatively invisible in most water types
Trade-offs

- Stretches more than braided line, reducing sensitivity
- Less abrasion-resistant than braided or fluorocarbon
