Quick take
Assorted pyramid sinkers for rigging bottom fishing and surf fishing presentations where pyramid shape provides stability.
This is a 21-piece assortment of bullet-shaped pyramid sinkers in 1, 3, 4 and 6 oz weights, made of aluminum in silver and gold tones. Each has a top hole for tying on line, so it suits surf, saltwater and freshwater bottom rigs where you need to match the weight to the current. A mixed box like this lets an angler swap sizes at the water without carrying separate packs.
Best for
- Surf fishing where pyramid shape holds in sand and current
- Catfish and bottom fishing in rivers
- Anglers building their own rigs and needing multiple weights
Skip if
- You use slip sinker rigs where round or barrel shapes work better
- You fish tight cover where pyramid points hang on obstacles
Strengths
- Pyramid shape holds position in moving water and sandy bottoms
- Assortment of weights covers most fishing situations from light freshwater to heavy saltwater
- Center hole allows quick line passing without damaging the line
Trade-offs
- Pyramid points catch on rocks and vegetation in heavy cover
- Aluminum construction corrodes more readily than lead in saltwater
- Assortment included may not match your specific depth or condition needs
