Quick take
An 8-inch soft plastic creature with floppy legs and tail, salt-impregnated to make fish hold on longer, for bass in heavy cover.
Zoom's 8-inch Magnum Lizard comes nine to a pack in pumpkin. Its floppy legs and tail add movement, and it is rigged on a Carolina rig in spring or a Texas rig in summer for bass. The soft plastic body has salt worked in, which is meant to release scent.

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
