Quick take
A 7-inch salt-impregnated worm for largemouth bass, with natural action on the fall.
The Zoom Magnum Trick Worm is a 7-inch, straight-tail soft bait for bass anglers who want a bigger profile than the standard Trick worm. It floats, so it can be fished weightless or wacky-rigged over cover, or on a shaky head for a slower presentation. Each pack holds eight worms in Bubble Gum.
Best for
- Flipping into vegetation and dock pilings
- Texas-rigged on heavy cover
- Anglers targeting larger bass
Skip if
- You fish clear water where a larger profile draws too much attention
- You need a worm under 6 inches
Strengths
- Salt impregnation makes bass hold on longer for better hookups
- Large size draws attention of bigger fish
- Pulsating hackle tail creates action
Trade-offs
- 7 inches and heavy weight need strong rod and line
- Larger profile spooks fish in clear, shallow water
- Pack of 8 is consumed quickly in heavy cover

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
