Quick take
A right-handed baitcasting reel with 6.4:1 ratio and magnetic braking for controlled casts.
The Abu Garcia Max X is a right-hand low profile baitcaster built around a 6.4:1 gear ratio that pulls in about 25 inches of line per crank. A MagTrax brake and five bearings, including an instant anti-reverse, keep casting and retrieves smooth. It handles both mono and braid, which suits anglers stepping up to baitcasting for bass and similar freshwater work.
