Quick take
Floating artificial eggs with Gulp scent that mimics real salmon eggs, won't dry out or fall off the hook.
These Berkley Gulp floating salmon eggs come in fluorescent orange, a bright egg color that trout anglers know well. The eggs are joined together, so they can be rigged as egg sacs or egg loops, and they float for presenting a bait up off the bottom. The 0.56-ounce jar gives trout and salmon anglers a scented, ready-to-fish alternative to real eggs.
Best for
- Trout and steelhead under a float
- Egg loop rigs and tight-line nymphing
- Fly anglers wanting an egg imitation
Skip if
- You prefer live bait over artificial
- You fish saltwater where eggs are less effective
Strengths
- Float naturally without added buoyancy aids
