Quick take
This 15-piece pack of Crappie Magnet soft bodies is in Purple Haze. The split tail stirs the water to draw in hesitant panfish, and the bodies work on small jigs or Crappie Magnet hooks. It is a stock-up pack for crappie anglers who go through a lot of tails.
Best for
- Vertical jigging for crappie under docks
- Panfish in shallow lakes and ponds
- Beginners learning to jig
Skip if
- You target large bass that ignore tiny profiles
- You fish moving water where a larger bait works better
Strengths
- Split tail moves plenty of water even with slow vertical jigging
- Fifteen-pack allows multiple color experiments

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
