Quick take
These soft plastic bodies come 15 to a pack in Chartreuse Glow and measure about 1.75 inches. A split tail moves water to draw attention from crappie and other panfish. They suit small jigs and are shaped to pair with Crappie Magnet hooks.
Best for
- Vertical jigging for crappie under docks
- Panfish in shallow lakes and ponds
- Beginners learning to jig
Skip if
- You target large bass that ignore tiny profiles
- You fish moving water where a larger bait works better
Strengths
- Split tail moves plenty of water even with slow vertical jigging
- Fifteen-pack allows multiple color experiments
Trade-offs
- Very small size limits casting distance and durability
- Only works well with slow, vertical presentations
- Not suitable for anything but small panfish species

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
