Quick take
A telescoping fishing net with 40 inch reach, knotless nylon mesh, and aluminum handle that clips to belt for portable carry.
This folding landing net pairs an aluminum telescoping handle with a knotless nylon mesh, and the handle runs out to about 40 inches in total. A built-in belt clip keeps it on the hip while you walk the bank or wade. The soft mesh suits catch and release, and the net collapses small enough to ride in a pack for pier, wading or shore trips.
Best for
- Bank and wading fishing where hands are needed
- Catch-and-release presentations protecting fish scales
- Kids and adult fishing in fresh or saltwater
Skip if
- You fish very large saltwater species requiring big nets
- You need a boat net with longer reach
Strengths
- Knotless hexagonal mesh prevents scale damage on catch-and-release
- Telescoping aluminum handle balances reach with packability
- Belt clip keeps net accessible without carrying in hand
Trade-offs
- Telescoping handle can stick or jam with salt and sand
- Triangular head is slower to flip closed than traditional round nets
- 40 inch extended reach requires some practice to use smoothly
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
