Quick take
Size 2/0 octopus hooks with a reversed beak point and needle tip, sized for live and cut bait in natural fishing.
Mustad's octopus and beak bait hook is made for natural or cut bait in saltwater or freshwater. This pack holds 25 hooks in size 2/0. It suits anglers who rig cut or natural bait and want a bait hook in that size for either water type.
Best for
- Live bait fishing in freshwater and saltwater
- Bottom fishing for small to medium catfish and panfish
- General bait fishing in ponds and slow rivers
Skip if
- You need circle hooks for catch-and-release
- You fish very small baits requiring size 4 or smaller
Strengths
- Needle point penetrates quickly on the strike
- Reversed beak point prevents bait from slipping or spinning
- Bronze finish is resistant to rust in freshwater and corrosion in saltwater
