Quick take
A small topwater frog that imitates a young frog with walk-the-dog action, designed for bass in ponds and shoreline cover.
The Frog-R is a floating topwater frog at 2 3/8 inches and 5/16 ounce, rigged with a #6 treble hook. Quick rod-tip twitches make it bob side to side across the surface, with its keel doing most of that work. Its smaller profile suits pond bass and shallow cover such as lily pads and stumps.

- Pond and lake fishing where frogs are present
- Anglers who enjoy explosive topwater strikes
Skip if

Strengths

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
