Best for
- Boat fishing where deck space is limited
- Saltwater inshore and offshore species
- Ice fishing where the gaff doubles as a jigging tool
Skip if
- You fish from shore and can net fish in shallow water
- You need a short fixed gaff for compact storage
Strengths
- Telescopic design collapses to 17 inches for easy storage
- Stainless steel hook resists saltwater corrosion
- Rubber handle improves grip when wet
Trade-offs
