Quick take
A 100-yard ice fishing line treated to resist water absorption and prevent ice buildup on reels.
This is a 2 lb monofilament made for ice fishing, spooled with 100 yards in neon orange. Its additives work against water soaking into the line, which helps keep ice from building up, and it sinks quickly for a natural presentation. A light line like this suits anglers jigging small baits through the ice for panfish.
Best for
- Ice fishing with panfish and perch
- Jigging under the ice in frigid water
- Anglers in cold climates during winter months
Skip if
- You fish open water in warm months
- You need heavy line for large pike
Strengths
