Quick take
Fingerless gloves with UPF 50+ sun protection and silicone palms for improved grip.
These fingerless sun gloves pair a stretchy, quick-drying fabric with a silicone-patterned palm for grip on rods, paddles and oars. Leaving the fingertips free makes it easy to tie knots, swap hooks and handle bait while the backs of your hands and wrists stay covered. They pull on, are machine washable and weigh next to nothing, so they pack easily into a tackle bag or pocket. A fit for anglers, kayakers and paddlers who want shade for their hands without losing feel.
Best for
- Long days on the water with sun exposure
- Activities requiring good hand grip (fishing, kayaking)
- Preventing blisters and calluses
Skip if
- Cold weather fishing; no warmth
- Formal or professional settings
Strengths
- Silicone palm enhances grip on rods and oars
- UPF 50+ protection and fingerless design
- Breathable fabric keeps hands cool and dry
Trade-offs
- Silicone may wear off with repeated use
- Open fingers still exposed to sun
- Limited to warm-weather use
