Quick take
A four-inch segmented swimbait with a lifelike shad profile, designed for chatterbaits and flipping jigs.
This is a 4 inch soft swimbait in a black body with large blue flake, sold as a pack of 6. Its segmented tail and deep belly suit it as a trailer on a bladed jig or flipping jig, and bass anglers will find the dark profile useful in stained water.
Best for
- Bass fishing with bladed jigs
- Chatterbait trailers and flipping presentations
- Anglers seeking realistic forage imitations
Skip if
- You prefer topwater or crankbait presentations
- You fish clear water where artificial looks obvious
Strengths
- Segmented body provides tight, realistic swimming action
- Flanged fins and accordion tail generate lifelike motion
- Belly slit and groove simplify rigging
Trade-offs

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
