Quick take
A four-inch segmented swimbait with a lifelike shad profile, designed for chatterbaits and flipping jigs.
This is a 4 inch soft swimbait in green pumpkin with black flake, packed 6 to a bag. The deep-bellied body and segmented tail make it a natural trailer for a bladed jig or flipping jig, and a natural color that bass anglers reach for around weeds and cover.
Best for
- Bass fishing with bladed jigs
- Chatterbait trailers and flipping presentations
- Anglers seeking realistic forage imitations
Skip if
- You prefer topwater or crankbait presentations
- You fish clear water where artificial looks obvious
Strengths
- Segmented body provides tight, realistic swimming action
- Flanged fins and accordion tail generate lifelike motion
- Belly slit and groove simplify rigging
Trade-offs
- Four-inch size limits use on small panfish
- Segmented design can tangle and degrade faster
- Effective primarily on largemouth bass

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
