- Bass fishing with finesse techniques in light cover
- Anglers who want a versatile soft plastic that works on many species
Skip if

- You fish very clear water where the chunky grub profile is obvious
Strengths
- Oversized curly tail creates big swimming action on small profile
- Fat, ribbed body shape produces erratic wounded-baitfish motion
- Works in both clear and stained water due to chunky action
Trade-offs

|
| Smoke/Silver Flake | Gives a see-through baitfish look in clear water and bright sun. |
|
| Pearl White, White | Stays easy to see in lightly stained water and under cloud. |
|
| Carolina Pumpkin, Green Pumpkin | Looks like real forage in clear water, where fish get a long look. |

Which one should I pick?

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
