Quick take
Buoyant unrigged soft plastic shrimp with rounded tentacles that stand up on the bottom and attract trout and panfish.
Z-Man's Glow Chartreuse Tail tube baits come six to a pack and are made in the USA from ElaZtech, a buoyant material whose rounded tentacles stand up off the bottom at rest before falling in a spiral. They can be Texas-rigged or fished with a leadhead jig inside the tube.
Best for
- Drop-shot rigging with small jigheads
- Trout and panfish on light line
- Pairing with tube or finesse jigging
Skip if
- You need rigged lures ready to cast

Strengths

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
