Quick take
Three-and-a-half-inch soft plastic craws with vibrating claws, salt-impregnated for holding bass longer.
The Zoom Ultra-Vibe Speed Craw is a 3.5-inch crawfish imitation sold as a pack of 12 in green pumpkin purple. Its claws and appendages add motion when it is pitched, flipped or fished as a trailer. Anglers often rig it as a trailer on a Texas rig, a shaky head or a jig, and its salt impregnated body suits bass fishing in cover.
Best for
- Bass fishing around structure and laydowns
- Flipping and pitching in dense cover
- Cold water when bass bite softer baits
Skip if
- You prefer larger creature baits for pike
- You fish open water where craws are uncommon
Strengths
- Vibrating claws and appendages add movement on retrieve and fall
- Salt impregnation makes fish hold the bait longer on the bite
- Green pumpkin color is neutral and works in most water conditions
Trade-offs
- Soft plastic degrades with UV and gets lost on snags; replacements needed often
- 3.5 inches is small for large bass; small mouth bass respond better
- Requires sharp hooks and quick sets to penetrate the soft plastic

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
