Quick take
A versatile 5 in soft plastic worm suited for Texas, Carolina, and wacky rigs, weighted or weightless.
This 5 inch Yum Dinger in Watermelon Pearl is a stick-style soft plastic for bass fishing. Anglers rig it Texas, Carolina or wacky style, with or without weight, and the molded slot along the body helps seat the hook. The bag holds 30 baits for plenty of casts.

- Bass fishing with jigs or drop-shot rigs
- Wacky rigging on a single hook
- Pressured bass on light tackle
Skip if
- You need a larger bait for big bass

Strengths
- Unique hook slot helps the worm seat properly and hold
- Tough plastic construction outlasts similar soft plastics

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
