Quick take
A floating mesh basket with orange floats that keeps live bait accessible while allowing full water circulation for oxygenation.
This is the extra large floating bait basket in the ZenWidea family, listed at 16 by 16 inches with a 5 mm mesh opening, against the 13 by 16 inch medium size. Its aluminum frame and handle, black mesh and orange floats let it ride on the surface beside a kayak, canoe or boat, and a long tether keeps it in sight. A drawstring top keeps the catch in while you handle it, and the frame folds flat into the included storage bag. At 2 pounds it weighs about half a pound more than the medium size.

Common questions
What size is the ZenWidea ZW-FB-16 fishing basket?
The ZW-FB-16 is the extra large basket in the family, listed at 16 by 16 inches. Its item dimensions read 14 by 16 inches, and it has a 5 mm mesh opening, a drawstring top and an aluminum frame, so it holds more bait than the 13 by 16 inch medium size.
Is the ZenWidea extra large fish basket suitable for saltwater?
Yes, the listing says this basket works in both freshwater and saltwater. Its coated mesh is described as corrosion-resistant and quick-drying, and its listed features include rust resistance and tangle-free mesh, so it is built for use on the ocean as well as on a pond or river.
What bait does the 16 inch ZenWidea basket hold?
The extra large ZenWidea basket is listed for live minnows, shrimp, crayfish, smelt, leeches, crab and lobster. Its mesh holes of about 4 by 5 mm keep small bait from escaping while water flows through, and its drawstring top keeps the catch from getting out during handling.
Does the ZenWidea extra large basket float on its own?
Yes. Multiple orange plastic floats on top keep the basket on the surface, where the catch stays submerged and easy to reach. A long tether cable keeps it within sight beside a kayak, canoe or boat, and the listing says it can also be placed in a boat's live well.
How heavy is the ZenWidea 16 inch fishing basket?
The listing gives an item weight of 2 pounds, about half a pound more than the 13 by 16 inch medium basket at 1.5 pounds. Its frame and handle are aluminum, and the frame folds flat so the basket fits in a tackle box or backpack with its included storage bag.
